Cancellations:

Private Lessons:  Please give a minimum of 24-hours-notice if you need to cancel a private lesson in order to avoid a potential charge.  If the lesson is part of a pre-paid package, it may count toward the package if at least 24-hours notice are not given.  Exceptions may be made in the case of illness or emergencies.

Group Classes:  Please give 3 days notice to cancel a spot in a group class.  

Missed Classes 

If you miss a group class during the session, the prorated amount for up to one missed class per session may be used toward a private lesson.  

In order to keep the classes small and maintain consistency during each session, there are no make-ups within the group classes unless the class specifically indicates that there is a drop-in option.

Refunds:

Online Payments for Private Lessons:  If an online payment has been made in advance for a private lesson and the student cancels within 24-hours, a full refund for that lesson will be issued.  If the lesson is cancelled within fewer than 24-hours of the lesson, a refund may not be issued.

Private Lesson Packages:  If a discount package of lessons has been purchased a package of lessons online or by check/cash, this package is non-refundable, neither in part nor in full.  If you think for any reason that you may not use all of the lessons, it is advisable to avoid purchasing a package and to pay for the lessons one at a time.

Transferring a package

If someone who has purchased a discount package finds that they are unable to use all of the lessons, they may transfer the remaining lessons to a friend or family member.

Expiration of packages

It is recommended that they be used in a timely manner (ie a package of 10 lessons within 10-13 weeks) for maximum benefit.  Packages expire if they are not used within 20 weeks of purchase.
